La locanda dell’Angelo
Tommy Agnoli and Sabrina Vezzolla passionately reopened this historic restaurant in 2022. The setting is elegant and refined, with well-spaced tables and artwork on the walls. In the kitchen, chef Davide Verdirosa offers dishes made with the freshest fish and local produce, respecting the seasons. There are two tasting menus: a 6-course land menu (€65) and a 6-course sea menu (€70). The dishes change every 40-50 days. Starters include tempura artichokes stuffed with potatoes, provola cheese and sage with sweet and sour sauce, and roasted octopus on a spicy lentil and sour cream velouté (€18). Try the chocolate agnolotti stuffed with venison with parmesan foam and black cabbage powder (€18) and the tagliolini with 40 egg yolks with truffle butter and
black truffle from Millesimo (€20). Main courses include Fassona beef cheek with Nebbiolo wine (€22) and Ligurian sea prawns on sweet potato cream and candied lemon zest (€24). Creative desserts include Cornucopia, a Sicilian cannolo with blood orange marmalade, or Sacher with caramel namelaka and dehydrated apricot (€10). Attentive service, with Tommy and Sabrina also guiding guests in their choice of wines from a cellar rich in Ligurian and Piedmontese labels.
