Close to the Pila cable car station, it is easy to reach even on skis. The interior is very cosy, with a large stove creating a charming atmosphere in winter, while in summer you can dine outdoors
with spectacular views of the mountains surrounding the village. The business was started in the 1990s by Katia’s parents, and today she runs the restaurant, which also includes a bar and heated swimming pool, with her husband and other partners. The cuisine is based on local products and traditional dishes, but also includes creative preparations. There is a tasting menu for €45, with
wine pairing for €65, featuring five courses dedicated to the Aosta Valley, such as Valpellinentze soup, Aosta Valley-style beef escalope and homemade cream with tegole and chestnuts. À la carte: homemade pasta such as tagliolini, ravioli del plin and agnolotti, as well as typical dishes such as crespelle valdostane and polenta concia, all priced between €10 and €16. There is a wide choice of meat dishes, including venison carbonada with polenta, sliced venison with berry jam and pork belly, ranging from €20 to €23. This restaurant offers excellent value for money in a splendid location where you can relax at any time of year.
