In 2021 two young people, Samuele who takes care of the dining room and Paolo in the kitchen, opened this restaurant in the historic center of Ventimiglia. Paolo followed his family footsteps; his mother, Terry, is a skilled cook who managed a renowned restaurant in Castel Vittorio, where Samuele had successfully managed a restaurant and began collaborating with Paolo. Outside the restaurant there is a large dehors. Alla Farmacia has an intimate inner venue, furnished with sober and elegant vintage furniture and paintings. The à la carte menu changes almost daily and follows the rhythm of the seasons. Here you can taste the famous “Turtun” Castelluzzo, prepared with wild herbs in winter and trumpet zucchini in summer. Also interesting is the version with potatoes. Among the appetisers you can try Fassona beef tartare, wild boar head cheese or some original preparations by the chef. Among the first courses (from 14 to 20 €) fresh homemade pastas, such as the -s’ciancàa-, in Ligurian dialect “strappata” or potatoes stuffed agnolotti del Plin. The second courses (from 12 to 18 €) include: wild boar, veal stew served with seasonal side dishes and vegetarian dishes. Desserts (€7): babà napoletano cake, honey mousse and tarts.
