Among the vineyards and forests, a spot that’s located in a wonderful atmosphere, a meeting point for painters and writers and oak forests where truffles and mushrooms grow. It has been managed by a family for generation with experience in the restaurant business and with a passion for truffles; there are also 6 welcoming and inviting rooms on the premises. The managers are warm and kind, Ezio Costa is in charge of the dining room, but if you wish he’ll go with you on a truffle hunt. Clelia Vivalda takes care of the kitchen, she prepares traditional Langhe dishes, flavors that were handed down to her by her mother Angela and which strictly follow the seasons. Theme nights are organized throughout the course of the year to re-discover old flavors including vegetarian ones.There’s a tasting menu available for € 25/30 or you can choose from their à la carte menu. Among their starters you’ll find green anchovies without garlic, Russian salad, fresh homemade pasta, tajarin, gnocchi and ravioli. From their second courses we recommend the pork ribs braised in Barbera which are famous for their cooking method. From their desserts you should try their bonet, their handmade hazelnut torte, their fruit cakes and creams. A truffle based menu is available when in season and Ezio will accompany you with his dog to look for the precious “diamond” of the Langhe.
